Poor hl2dm

Since the screwy updates a few days ago things have been just really horrible to try to play hl2dm lately, anyone been freezing up in game for no reason?(not to mention other bugs) This has been going on for me everytime i play now.

With the freezing and mani not working it's getting so hard for me to keep playing this game even with the fact that it's so great and i really do not want to let it go.... it's getting to the point where it's just a hassle to play and not fun anymore, they are giving us no choice it seems but to abandon this great game.

I agree... The latencies on the servers are very high, especially other users, but thankfully, I found a minority of the servers that has a medium ping.

But hey, you can install hl2dm for playing HL2 mod multiplayer.

Something needs to be done with the steam client, me and everyone ive been talking too timeout/freeze up in game way too often now. I can't even be on a server for more than a half hour anymore without crashing.

Without xfire the game still crash easily without the use of... Nah, you know it already....

Well i found out what was causing my crashes... i recently updated my video card driver, you would think updating your driver would be a good thing... i had to roll it back to the older one and all is better.

I'm still getting some strange messages in the server console i've never seen till the updates happened. Here are a few of them, if anyone can explain why these would showup i would be glad to hear yout thoughts, it's almost like valve messed up some parts of the game witch would cause these messages to appear.

2recache of sprites/redglow1 ambigious (no extension specified)

These messages do not seem right and makes me think there is a problem with the game, somewhere.

HLDM Windows Error Report

hey people. does anyone have a problem with halflife 2 deathmatch .... everytime i try to launch the game .. windows comes up with an error report. Has anyone had this problem and has the solution ? if so reply to my e-mail please .. [email protected] .. Cheers.

Yes, i get this. I made a post about it today called "Crash". Did you happen to find out what the problem was? Cheers!
