Yes, it's true... go to the steam status page, and you'll see the familiar little squggles that seem to indicate an update. =D

Of course, I could be completely wrong.. just pointing it out to all you fellow HL2 groupies. =P

I believe that when I started steam earlier today, Steam updated itself, and I've been playing it every night and even earlier today, so I don't think that it was an old update...

Who knows, my computer might have gone crazy or something...

Every time there's a squiggle in that graph someone posts about it. I just thought i'd say that.

We are so desperate that we look upon the squiggle with great respect and seriousness. That squiggle gives meaning to my existence.

An update to the Steam client has just been released. Steam will update itself automatically when you restart. Servers will need to be restarted. Here is a list of the changes:

My steam is updating and I had it update last night for the rcon exploit I believe, hmmmmm.

Well OBVIOUSLY the game is going gold tomorrow and Valve have been sneaking out updates and not announcing what they're about....because it's about goldness and they don't want to ruin the surprise.

The squiggle came to me in a dream. In that dream I thought the eastern sky grew dark and there was a growing thunder, but in the West a pale light lingered, and out of it I heard a voice, remote but clear, crying

That's absolutely true. False hopes and deception defines what it is to be a follower of Half-Life 2.

It will not go gold tomorrow....but we are made to think it will! These last points to accurate for sandpeople...only imperial storm troopers are so precise!!
