Poster of Hong Kong buildings found in Ravenholm...

(In fact I never played HL2 but this is from HL2 demo, so I guess the contents are the same?)

It is exactly what can be found in Hong Kong in the poster. The bigger building is the Heng Sang Bank building and the lower small one (with a dome) is a government building. I spotted this bcos I used to live in HK and the bank building is famous here.

Perhapes this is another evidence to "City 17 actually combines elements from all over the world and is designed not based on only one single real city in the world"?

Good find. I've seen that poster a few times throughout HL2 (not just Ravenholm). Never quite knew what it was until now.

Yes, it is all over the place. I think it was originally in the game at one point, either the setting for a chapter set in a skyscraper (which there was) or whether the citadel landed on that building, as it was going to be growing over them.

Well that made no sense.

Initially, I thought that might of been an early version of the Citadel before you told me otherwise. I have found a picture of what you have just told me, but Im not sure if its the same building.

Well, since most of my time in Ravenholm was spent running away screaming from approaching posion zombies and hiding..I..uh..I mean, guarding corners(damn fast zombies)...I've never noticed those there before.
