Prey & HL - PREY SPOILERS

Just posting that thers prey spoilers cuz some people might not wanna know about how it ends cuz i just beat it and man.....dont read on if u dont wanna know.







well to say the least, this game is great, i suggest everyone give a go. But it copies HL pretty much exactly in regards to the ending. You destroy the main boss, then you get a lady who u meet in the game about mid-way through. She says, lots of people are talking about what u did, and they want your services, and then u go into a portal and im guessing prey 2 will involve how a group of aliens occupy the earth and u must take down a really tall building....wait, nope, thats also in prey 1 The entire game is you climbinb to this insanley tall skyscraper thingy to get to your girl to save her. Whats next, are they gonna give this player a crowbar? nope, you get a wrench. Oh, not to mention that, like a big part of HL, this game uses a lot of portals and teleports, but i think prey does a great job of this and it revolutionizes how they will be used. Even though it copied my fav game in so many ways, it copied them and did a great job....so dont think im against PREY, i suggest you all try it.

I beat it a couple days ago, and I too like the ending. I just didn't realize how much it was like HL.

Just beat it - most entertaining! I thought it was more like Quake 4.5 than Half Life 2, but that's from the engine and organic environment, and almost storyline.

I got it on the 8th and beat it on the 9th...I was going to buy it but a friend gave me a leaked copy.

The funny thing is that I'm serious, I didn't even know there was a leaked version untill he called me and gave me a copy.

I've only played the demo, but even the beginning of that where you're on the conveyer belt after you've just been beamed up reminded me of Half-Life 2 in the Combine Fortress.

P.S. I wouldn't go admitting you've got a leaked copy of the game on these forums, the Mods are very strict on stuff like that around here.

I thought the game was fantastic, i was a little dissapointed with the combat could have been a little more engaging, but there was always something new happening, felt a little dizzy after all the wall walking and gravity shifts :rolling:

But yea as soon as a saw the citadel thing i Immediately thought HL2, as well as the gravity gun on the space ship thingy
