problem in route cannal

Im at the area with some wrecked boats and the 2 mortar tanks on top of the dock. (the tanks are dead already) I;'ve gotten under the dock but when I try to jump the ramp, the bottom of my boat catches the landing side and knocks me off. I;'ve tried every angle of jumping and it still catches the bottom of my boat. What's wrong?

Could you include some pictures, please?
Press F5 ingame to make a screenshot.
Then, go to your Steam folder (Most likely in C:\Program Files\Steam) and go to:
Steamapps --> (Your Steam Username) --> Half-Life 2 --> hl2 --> screenshots
Now upload your screenshots to www.imageshack.us and post them in your reply.

You are supposed to be able to make that jump. Try reloading the level.

Did you get under the dock by blowing the barrels in the container? There is an invisible wall there untill you blow them up.

I bet thats what it was.
I didnt know about those previously and used those logs to hop over.

my problem now is i cant even enter the game!
(dont have internet at home) now its saying I cant finnish running the product (something to that extent) with being in offline mode.
I can start steam in offlinemode but trying to run HL2 wont work.
and it was working fine a few days before..

Thanks for your input on my first problem, any input about second problem would be awsome. Thanks!

It was probably updating. You should connect it to the internet again somewhere, let it update, and then run it in offline mode (just plug out the internet and restart Steam)
