Anyone remember the conception art of these guys? I would love to fight them, they look like fun, any chance they could be in this game? :stare:

Doubtful. Their AI was the exactly the same as the fast zombie, so your not missing much.

yeah, from the concept art they look interesting and I've heard rumors that they were supposed to be able to walk on the ceiling:O .
Sadly I don't think we will be seeing these guys in Aftermath simply because in HL2 they were replaced by the fast zombie:( .

They were recycled into fast zombies the same was Air Exchange was into Nova Prospekt.

They looked very cool. I want them to be in a future HL game. I don’t care their AI was recycled into the Fast Zombie. I don’t even think the Fast Zombie AI fits them. I want them to climb walls and hang on ceilings. They could be so much cooler than the Fast Zombie.

I think they should take the idea and stick a new AI in it.
I thought prowlers would be faster, they wouldn't jump but climb instead, be stealthier. Kinda like the black ops from HL1...

IMO from you guy's descriptions they would have been more fun to fight, the fast zombies were kinda cheap, think about it, there nothing more then decaying human muscle and bones with a headcrab on there skull, but yeah the prowlers sound like more fun to fight!

They would, but it's something Valve would have to pick up and do, or by someone who can create good AI's

The only reason you are saying that is because you are bored of Fast Zombies.

If Prowlers had been in game, this thread would have been yearning after Fast Zombies.

So amazingly true.

That’s nonsense. It’s not true in my case. Before HL2 was released I thought the Prowler would be one of the best enemies HL2 would had. The way it looks, the way it moves (well at least the way I imagined it to move).
I never once had this feeling with the fast zombie. The Prowler could be so much cooler than the fast zombie.

Agree with that

Wow, the fast zombie is nothing like how you imagined a prowler to be! I really have nothing sarcastic to say here...*insert hurtful comment*

No, it's not.

Not really. They never actually showed the fast zombie before release, and had they implemented the Prowler, and instead showed the fast zombie concept, people would have been saying "Screw the Prowler, we want fast zombie!", honestly, it's how it works.

Fast zombies crawling on walls would be cooler than Prowlers.

Most of the times, yes, it’s how it works. In this case however, I seriously doubt it.

God, do people really have to idolise the cut content?

It's wanting what you can't have...

THe only thing I don't miss is the hyrda's...
