Purchase Via Steam

Im sorry for making a new thread about this but I cant seem to find one that answers some of my questions. I waited to get a reply from Valve tech support but they havent sent me anything for a long time (which is ok im not complaining they a busy). I want to purchase Half-Life 2 Bronze from steam. I want to get the one where I just preload it and then I can play CS:S. If I go to www.steampowered.com and click the "click here to purchase if you have steam installed" is that what Im looking for? I guess my question is, if I purchase it from that exact website, right when I officially buy it, will I be able to preload Half-Life2 and play CS:S? Also is Valve good with their support? For instance if something goes wrong with the preload and it doesnt work, can they help me fix it? Or if I lose half life 2 on my comp can I get it back? All the info you guys know please let me know because I really want to buy it, Im just not sure if Im buying the right one.
P.S. If I preload the game before buying it, then buy it, will it still work, or do I have to preload all over again?

I'll try to explain it as best i can

Ok now when you open steam go to 'Browse Games' tab. Then the first thing that pops up is the HL2 packages now you scrol to the bottom of that page where you come to the bronze package, then you go purchase i think it is.

I think that is what your trying to do is it not?

And yes you can download HL2 as many times you want if you lose it ect.

So if i go to browse games and click purchase bronze, it will preload it onto my computer and I can play cs:s? Just making sure, thanks for your replies!

yes you will need to use a Visa/Mastercard and fill out the form to buy the Bronze edition then it will validate thatyour credit card is real and then once it does it will start downloading CS:S and then just open it up and it will download the updates for the game and then yhou can play!!!

Sorry to bump this back up, I feel like an ass but can I preload half life 2 before buying it from steam, and then after I buy it from steam will I have to repreload it or will i be ready to play CS:S the second they verify the credit card info and stuff? Or do you guys not suggest that I preload it before buying it?
