Anywho, when Eli got the message fro Alyx in the silo, he had pain in his head and collapsed. Could the Gman had secured his brain from the advisors? This could also explain the time in which they were fishing around in his brains.

And yeah, It's like, when something really bad happens, and someone had said something to you RIGHT before it had happened, and then one of your closest relatives suddenly said that phrase out of the blue, you'd be like,
