Question about Hl2 coding...

As an aspiring software engineer at the fine Auburn University, i was just curious as to which language HL2 was programmed in. C++ right?

Well the entire thing wasn't developed in C++

The tools were probably done using C, C# and maybe even Java... well at least that's what the Unreal tools are made with.
