I just recently bought Half Life 2 and I put in the disk and logged into my Steam account. I click to install Half Life 2 and i enter my cd-key and stuff then it says " Your purchase is still being processed. Steam will notify you when the transaction is complete. Until then the game is not available to play" Im wondering if this is normal because it never happened to me with Half Life 1 before.

WOW I just restarted steam and it says transaction complete well nevermind

And in any case, it was quite normal. Validation procedures can take a few minutes sometimes, quite okay.
