Hey guys, i recorded a demo, is there any way to extract it into an image sequence? Thanks in advance,

No, it's impossible.

Unless you... like... use fraps or something like that. There was talk about a better program somewhere.

Uhh.. Dead-Inside, it's very possible, and easy too. Fraps sucks btw.

I used this:

-) put that in ur autoexec.cfg
bind "F11" "host_framerate 30; startmovie temp"
bind "F12" "endmovie"
-) record demos while u play
-) run the demo
-) press f11 to start recording
-) press f12 to stop recording
-) download virtualdub
-) file -> open video -> image sequence
-) select the first of the .tga files (should be named mapnam_tmp_0000.tga)
-) audio -> wav audio -> temp.wav in the hl2 directory
-) file -> save avi -> select destination and name

This will create a 30 fps video (no matter how complex the scene or how slow your pc) with perfectly synchronized sound (make sure you select 2 channel audio, 5.1 won't work). And then export the first image file into Virtualdub and it will be recognized as a series, select the audio (PS: in Video>Framerate, make sure the option 'adjust framerate to audio framerate' or something like that is checked) set the compression (DivX) and voila!

You can make a 25 FPS to get smaller filesize. I think. Atleast I did
