Real Life Inspiration for the Borealis

Any geek into sci-fi and likes half-life knows this already.

Yeah, well, might as well point it out anyway. And at least it's not the 100,000,000,000th thread about how Gordan = G-Man.

Thank you. Kids, it's time for all the Gordan = G-Man theories to be taken out behind the barn and given both barrels of a shotgun right in their rabid, slobbering face. Seriously.

I disagree. I think we should use Mr. Larrity's (from codemonkeys) four barreled shotgun.

Quick! Put Breen behind the target to make it look better!

.....

That was an obscure Code Monkeys reference on my part, but what the hell! It's Friday!

"I just took a duce in the brownie bowl!, but it's okay cause my poo is brown and the brownie's are brown."

How did we get from top secret government projects to taking craps in brownie bowls again?

Na, that ship has nothing to do with the Borealis...

It looks nothing like it...

It doesnt have the history similar to the Borealis...

and, it isnt similar to the borealis in anyway...

Inspiration for the Borealis was USGSC HEALY.

The ship is of exactly the same name...

It is of a similar project (scientific research)

And, it's front end looks like it (we don't know what the back end looks like yet)

Bravo!!

THAT, is a ship similar to the Borealis.

They probably called it the Borealis for a reason.
