This isn't written by me, but I don't think anyone else on these forums have noticed it, and its far too good to simply let lie. Its a novelization of the original Half Life, but not in the sense that it is a poorly written walkthrough. Rather, its a very engaging story that focuses on the changing characters of Gordon, Barney, and Shepard. It also perfectly emulates that bit of dark humor that makes the Half Life series so great. Seriously, read it.
