removing chapter/save game access

Ok, I have multiple users on a computer that are playing HL2. I can move my saved games to a private folder so they are inaccessible, but once ONE person has reached a certain point in the game the corresponding chapters become available to everyone.

I'm trying to figure out which file I need to mod or remove that will make these chapters inaccessible to other players, to effectively reset it. I've tried removing a few files, but they are regenerated automatically.. No luck yet. Any ideas?

Hey, if you go to 'C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your@email\half-life 2\hl2\cfg, then open the config folder. Scroll down and find this line

sv_unlockedchapters "14"

Change the "14" to whatever you want then save the cfg. i believe no chapters is "xx" but you can put any number in there obviously thats a chapter in HL2. Hope that helps.
