Retrieve saved games?

This is probably hopeless but I'll ask anyway. I was all the way to Nova Prospekt when my brother got on my computer and started playing a new game.

I had only been using the quicksaves and the autosave so when he played it overwrote ALL of my save games.

It also won't allow me to start a new game as far along as I was (only back in Sandtraps)

Is there a way to either rollback the autosaves or make the game allow me to start a new game at whatever level I want?

you could find out the map name, and type

map <mapename>

in the console, though I don't know what weapons or anything you'd start with. You'll have to ask somebody else for the name.

Umm, I have no idea who the retard was that thought I was someone else but anyway.

If you have this problem you can solve it by opening up the console and putting in "sv_unlockedchapters #" with # being whatever point you want to open up to.

Then at least you can start at that level.

Whats your problem? Is he bothering you in anyway? Get out of here with that bs attitude, it disgusts me.

I had this same problem with my savefile, unfortunately I had to go back to the newest file I had left and I noclipped through it till I got back.
