You know, I've been to the BBC Website and watched that and I've never head it said that it was Rome: Total War. You'd think that they would be promoting it a bit more.

On a different note, last weeks contestants were incredibly stupid. "No, we need to leave the high ground and split up."

Yeah, I can't wait for this game, it's on my buy list (with one other game :cheese:). Since Ben-Hur, my dream has been to lead the Roman legions against the barbaric hordes.

Plus, it's 3D too! Movies can be found at IGN (and boy are they sweet!)

Intrestingly there was a guy on the IRC channel last night who said he was one of the techs on the programme, the guys who actually control the armys. His name was Celt...

Good god, they didn't have CLUE. But I loved the presenters sharp retorical sarcasm lol. That guys good. The only guy there that had some sort of clue was the bloke Paul who was one of the Lt's with that other woman that didnt have a clue.

I've never shouted at the TV so much before.

I think it's an earlier version that 'is not representative of the final product' as a pr man would say. Eg, watch the rome:total war video, then watch time commanders. the animation is rubbish. In fact, who says it even ois rome:total war? I know it looks like it, but....
Anyway, it is a good show.

"Let's talk about what went right.

*pause*.

Okay now let's talk about what went wrong."

EDIT: I burst out laughing when then the camera focused on 3 Roman Soldiers running away then an entire HOARD of Britons were running after them. It was comical.
