Saved Game at Wrong Spot - NEED HELP!

I am stuck in Half Life 2 Episode 2

I am at the very end of the game where you are killing the Stryders with those sticky bombs. I saved the game at a very bad spot, each time the game loads and starts the rocket is destroyed and the game is over - I dont have ANY time to do anything except die


Is there ANYWAY to go back a few minutes or event an episode and run through it again?

yeah do what huntingbear said or you coul;d jest start the chapter over, or as soone as the game loads, jest go into console and type in

SV_cheats 1

then type in ai_disabled and every npc should stop moving and attacking.

Also, don't quicksave unless it's in a good place. The game's autosave knows what it's doing.

It does have a autosave feature.
Unfortunately, unless you have any saved files that are closer to where you are, you will have to start back at just after Magnasson and his casserole comment. Sorry (

In that note, i'd just like to say I did not care for the final part of ep 2. Found it way too stressful near the end, and was the first time I really got annoyed by a HL game.

I also found it stressful, but in a "HOLY SHIT I GOTTA GET MY ASS IN GEAR"-way, as opposed to the "THIS IS TOO ****ING DIFFICULT"-way in HL2 just before the Nova Prospekt teleportation chamber.

I just realized something, and it's amazing...
