Saving saved games after uninstalling..........

Can saved games be saved after uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it again? If they can be saved how does go about it?

Sure you can, go into your computer and find this location (it may vary with you a little)

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE

All those save files and jpegs are needed. So either remove that folder and put it back in after the reinstall OR take the contents out and put them elsewhere, reinstall and copy and paste them back in. Good luck.

Will that save the information containing the chapters that you have unlocked too? So you don't hafta unlock them again?
