Hi guys,
Relatively new to the Hl2 scene but I have setup a server which is running well, apart form one minor problem. We have been running the server for a couple of months using mani admin and have installed some selected maps from the map packs to make life more interesting. I now want to instll the quake sounds to fun things up a little!!!! I have followed all the various suggestions online, including res files, exec in config files etc. but we still do not get the sounds!!! Has anyone found or know a decent guide for getting this to work (most ones I have found have been for CS)???
We run the server dedicated and all the mani admin stuff works fine. Have quake sounds turned on etc but no joy!!!! Heeeeeellllpppp!!!
