I know that headcrabs can jump to head-height, but if Lamarr's action from the game are anything to go by, isn't she rather fast for a regular headcrab? When you first saw her, she was leaping about all over the lab, into places you couldn't reach and breaking through walls... And then look at an in-game headcrab when you hurt it. It just kind of waddles away on its hind legs, waving its front legs in the air...

As well as having debeaked Lamarr Kleiner feeds it steroids.

that or genetically engineers it to be a super headcrab!

Since Lamarr is domesticated, she's bound to act differently than those other headcrabs.

All the others are crippled by hunger.
Lamarr feasts on watermelons daily, as they are the breakfast of champions.

It didn't occur to me that Lamarr moved in ways other headcrabs couldn't - usually the only thing 'wild' headcrabs aim for is your noggin, not shelves and whatnot.

She is brain damaged, you see the wires for her intelligence had been broken by a crowbar earlier in her life, when they healed they formed together with the wires used for sending movement messages.

Where she lacks intelligence she makes up in speed and movement.

You'd run away quickly too. You don't know what Kleiner does with that thing. He didn't name it after an attractive actress for nothing.
