Damnit, we all know it. Half-Life 2 is coming out September 30th 2004. I mean, it's so ironic, that it will happen.

Well it was probably the intended release date from the beginning. Just when they first annouced it they forgot to say 2004. Then when everyone got so excited valve didn't have the heart to say they had forget to specify the year , so they just stuck with it until they couldn't any longer.

The sad truth is, it's funny, and makes me want to cry at the same time. I can specifically recall PC Gamer saying something about how Valve definately meant 2003, NOT 2004. Hehe.

Yeah well, hl2 will still be a exellent blockbusting game, however the fact that it comes after farcry and doom3 will put a dent in the popularity cuz it wont seem as incredible. IMO.
