Along with the new nonlinear encounters, Episode Two features an updated auto-save system that checks whether the player is in the midst of combat before saving the game. This avoids situations of an auto-save happening at an inopportune moment, a situation that would otherwise be more likely with Episode Two's potentially very long battles.
The article spoiled the whole game, damnit. Now there is no surprises anymore, they told everything where to go and what to do
Hmm I wonder if there's a zombie chapter in EP2.
If nothing else, I hope the standard headcrab zombies get a change of shirt. It made sense for them to be wearing lab coats in HL1, but in HL2 it's just lame that they're all dressed the same. Now that I think about it, maybe their shirts represent an older version of the citizen uniform...
Alyx has a cut on her chin, a new facial detail that should add some reinforcement to the seriousness/toughness of the battles they've all been through

Didn't one of the older previews mention "one of the largest puzzles EVER in an fps"?
Or was it my imagination.
Blast Pit, anyone?
Pit Worm?
Sandtraps?
Direct Intervention?
No, but the zombie has a freaking hole in the belly, I find it hard to believe a jacket would survive such a treatment.
Yeah, I remember that. That was the PC Gamer one, I think, but they could just be referring to Portal.
