When you buy the game retail or via steam you get this modding system to make maps and everything...its just all the tools you need to make everything with the basics from HL2 game in mind.

It's about 35MB, or at least this version is. Once all the HL2 content has been included you can probably expect the size to go up considerably.

N admin im on a 56k n if you get upset for 35 megs..i will seriously start laughing my ass off....i would seriously have milk cmon down my noose laughing at you...
I dled Desert Combat - almost 600 megs i believe... then erased it cuz i dint like it. I dled steam twice(300 meg one, first one messed up), dled True Combat(Q3 Mod - 75megs a few times), Some warez files..ranging from 50 to 300 megs..,"Look an elephant!" *runs the other way*, Ns:Co(291 megs, dled several times in my life), CS:S Beta plus all of its patchs, 410megs total on the guild wars preview event, Military Forces (Q3 mod, around 40 megs several time), plus many more shit.

So if you think 35 megs is to much ima laugh!
