I just downloaded the Smod and installed it and it launched fine then i go new game select the first chapter and it loads until aobut 3/4 the way and thne it stops can somebody please help me out here

Don't worry i fixed it but i was just wondering you got the manipulator gun and you get these little red balls what do they do can soembody please tell me
