Heh, I make too many threads - I DO google for these things first just so you know ;)

How would I smooth out my model? I hate it looking all jaggie..

use the smoothing groups as part of the editable mesh/poly.

Read the damn help files and/or manual

There are two ways that I know of.

Auto Way: Click on your object (model) and go to the modifier list and select smooth. Select "Auto Smooth" and it'll smooth it for you. However, this doesn't always work as some things will smooth wrong like cylinders or rounded surfaces. You could do it by breaking the model down and doing it to each individually selecting a suitable a different threshold each time. TBH, this way saves the most time.

Manual Way: Select object. Make sure it's an editable mesh or something and select "Polygon". Select the polys you want to smooth and look for "Smoothing Groups" on the right. Select a number. These polys will now be assigned to this group. It also has the Auto Smooth option as well. I think this is the way Pi described.

I went into modifiers while my model was selected, and I chose "smooth mesh" or something along those lines, that worked pretty good, but, went too round :P

That's MeshSmooth isn't it? That's the wrong one. That basically smooths you model by using more polys.
