Speculating on blood in HL2

Do you guys think--or have you heard--that they will be revamping most of the "gore" effects for the sequel? The same silly-looking yellow sprites still pop up when hitting head crabs with the crowbar in the videos...

this has been coverd throughly. they were just placeholders for the E3 demos. plus it was an old build for the game. would people please stop complaining until the game is out!?

A body should only "gib" when it has been hit by an explosive or an energy weapon. Soldier of Fortune II had exagerated this effect.
