Started again at 52%?

I searched for 52 but it wouldnt let me because it was too short. I had my locked copy on my computer then cliked the half-life 2 icon again to continue the download and the bar was at 52 percent and hasnt moved. Is this normal?

EDIT I see from searching manullay that some peoples hve started at 52 percent aswell, but nothing about it not moving.

tried to cancle the upload and started again, though it got stuck again, on 52
i guess the servers are over loaded and we have to wait

mine got stuck at 52% also, i read on the steam forums the if you delete the client registry.blob it can make it work, i tried this but all it did was reset the download percent to 0% (which needless to say pissed me off) basically i just restored the client registry.blob from the recycle bin on my desktop.

it jumped back up to 51 percent and then started downloading again from where i left off. it is very slow compared to the first preload though, even though it says im downloading at the same speeds i did the first phase at, it just seems slower. steams good though and it will download anything it may have missed, it wont go corrupt or anyting. its been a few hours and ive jusyt reached 70%

Check your monitor screens. It may show some activity even though the pre-load screen doesn't.

I had paused mine, restarted Steam, then un-paused it, and it didn't work. Then I paused and un-paused it again, and it started to download.

I dunno....could be content servers are full.
