Does anyone know how far can you go, that is, how many levels can you increase your badge? It seems like it can go on forever...

As high as the current amount of supported games will allow.

Each game has two badges available (Foil and Standard), each with five separate levels. Each badge gives 100xp.

Regarding the Steam Summer Getaway badge how far can you increase the level?

EDIT: just completed the Steam Summer Getaway Badge and the Max Level is 5.

And regarding Booster Packs?

This is what is says on Steam, but I confess I didn´t really understand the "randomly" part.

"Once you have received all of your card drops, you become eligible for a booster pack containing 3 additional cards. Booster packs are granted randomly to eligible users as more badges are crafted by members of the community. Make sure you log in to Steam each week to maintain eligibility."

It is exactly what it says... random.

I got the Psychonauts Booster when I was playing Borderlands 2 the other day. It's the only booster I've had though.
