Steam Problem

Well my steam is set on to automatically log in when I turn on the computer, but this time I had to fix the router I use through out the room, so steam was not able to log in, but now I don't remember the password of my username, but when I try to retrive my password through the username it says that it is not able to be found....
When I tried a serach through the serial key, then it just sent me an email with the username "aquabelic"
But I still don't remember my password....

I sent valve an email about this, but I decided to try this forum because steam's is down right now, and I feel like playing CS:S over these weekends, and not wait for a week to get a response.... ;(

God i hate steam so very very much...

It seems that a server at Valve is down, i have 3 Steam account and only one is working.
Two of my accounts don't exist anymore since many houres, database problems eventually!!

Database server is corrupted and then just lost of a load of accounts, and the backups are also fecked up.

I am pretty sure there will be a fix in 2 or 3 weeks, once geting to know Valve, you will get used to maintain your patience...

You guys could be like me and leave your computer on with steam running in the background 24/7 so you don't have to worry about logging on.

I can't remember ever not being able to log into Steam. It might have happened with 1.6 with Steam v1.0, but I can't remember it happening. Maybe they are doing some system upgrades.

Hopefully they are doing a major Friends network upgrade.

You guys could be like me and leave your computer on with steam running in the background 24/7 so you don't have to worry about logging on.

Or have cable/dsl internet, and have the auto login enable in STEAM , so you will be connected right away without any problems....

If only I did not have to restart my cable modem when the computer was on.... :afro:

It's down for me, too... Steam is really annoying sometimes. But mostly it's great... but for the fact that they programmed HL2 so i can't run without it.
