Steam Working?

I just bought the Silver package and played a little CS:S, when I got out, Steam was working. My Half-Life 2 preload says "You will be able to play it immediately", but Steam is still doing something. It's been going at it for over half an hour now.
This happening to anyone else?

May be preloading DOD:S and HL:S, etc.

HL2 isn't released yet. And if you haven't preloaded completealy then its doing that, or its updating CSS.. But I couldn't quite understand your post...
