Still missing tons of information

I think its disgraceful on valves behalf, how little information they give the consumer. I mean, you're going to pay a lot of money for something they don't bother to clarify. How can you make an educated buying decision without knowing, say, which games you get as part of the back catalogue, when it will happen, and how much they would cost individually. I guess you'd have to wait for more details, but then you don't get CS as early as you could. I donno, i think this is arrogance on Valves behalf...

I agree...

they definitly need to list the games individual prices and the retail prices(the base anyways)

also remember people that you are infact paying for products that you have no idea when they will be aviable....also for HL:S and DoD:s you actually don't have a clear view of what you are buying(especially with DoD:s since no info at all has been released about this) this means that you are actually paying for products that could potentially turn out crappy or something that you wouldn't care for anyways....

I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense I'll clarify if needed, right now I'm tired and also somewhat confuzzled by Valves marketings strategies :x

I really think you've gotta get things into perspective here.

If you are a keen gamer then youll know this game is going to be absolutely fantastic. Look at the other crap out there on the pc and consoles that they sell for £40-00 or so. Jesus some of those guys should be disbarred or something.

With all the work and tweaking that has gone into this - and with the long lasting_ness of it all (look how many people still play cs_1 + other HL1 Mods) i don't think we have any room for complaint on price..

also we still haven't heard the shipping fee that will be added to those prices given... on the bright side I got a mail from Erik Johnson and he said the fee should be a flat out fee no matter where you lived....but then again in regular Valve style he also said that the steam packages first revealed was final, but as it turns out they added the collectors box to the gold package...so trust this at your own risk....:dozey:
