It's being done by the same team who made Psi-Ops, and that was a rather good game tbh, so I have high hopes for this game!
Who doesn't love shooting Chinese gangsters in Hong Kong?<3
And ontop of that, Hard Boiled(Movie which you could say this game is a sequel too) is a pretty nice film too <3!

Sooooooo...

DISCUSS!

Hmm.

Hand one: it could be a vapid, uninspired, cheap and flimsy waste of everybody's time.
Hand two: it could be as fluid and as satisfying as Prince of Persia, but with guns.
Vestigal third hand: it could be merely average - good for a laugh, but not really worth spending money on. Like Enter the Matrix.

So long as I get to do all the cool shit Chow Yun Fat did in Hardboiled, I will be satisfied

I watched this trailer and interview last night and saw a preview in the latest Game Informer (US). It sounds pretty cool and looks beautiful. Very linear story, but the fights are total sandboxes supposedly where you can do anything you like to achieve your objective. I am frankly tired of any sort of slowing down of time in games, but maybe it will be different or cooler somehow in this title. We'll see how it turns out.

LMFAO! could they have ripped of Hard Boiled any more. I was hoping the game industry had already got over the Matrix and Max Payne.

Well, if you watch the interview they have on IGN, then you'll see the director of the project calling this title a "spiritual successor" to hard-boiled. I think its a great idea and everyone else involved seems very content and even excited about it! I hope its good, but yeah, bullet-time needs to die.

Maybe you missed the fact that the game is by John Woo... it's basically the sequel to Hard Boiled, so it's fine that they rip it off
