Striders....

How do you spawn striders that move, shoot and have AI?

And is it the same method for othe r creatures like gunships and dropships?

noclip into the air a little
give npc_strider
give npc_gunship
they won't be able to move as they have no nodes. I may be possible to order them to move but I don't know. Spawned dropships are useless because they just site there and are useless.

they will only work in areas where there are nodes for the relevant entity already
you may have to set status to patrol etc.

There are console commands for go there though. Can't remember them but there are.

You can't spawn striders in Gmod and you can't order people to go places in Gmod (unless you use the console)
