Stuck at starting of highway 17

I just got that dune buggy and i am tottally lost as in where to go there is this ramp and no matter how many times i try to jump the buggy just ends up down and i get OWNED by endless ant lions

can someone give me a tip?

Press your run button to do turbo on the buggy and you will make the jump. Not sure what key it is by default, I think shift.

There are a couple of jumps you need to use turbo for - so if you try it and it doesn't work, try it again with turbo.

thanks for the tip now i am stuck at another location its this train brige and you have to go under it and than you have to shoot a gunship and all .. i reached the last "tower" and there is a room upstairs where there are 2-3 foes and a shield i destroyed the shield and than there is a switch i turned it on .. and now i am stuck as in where to go i guess i have to reach up the bridge but i cant figure out how to do that?

If you are where i think you are. you need to head back on yourself to the buggy.. all will become clear
