Stuck In Black Mesa East

:x Help! I am at the begining of Black Mesa East where you are about to decend into the building through the elevator with the doctor and she presses the button and then nothing happens.. is there something i must do before I can press on?

Reload from the beginning the last save or go new game --> black mesa east. (dont worry, you get guns again )

press F6 then F9.... immediately after she stops talking... that should do the trick.

Bringing down the console and typing restart usually fixes scripting errors like those...

that happened to me aswell, also when alyx saves you near the start and takes you down an elevator.

Why don't the chicks like elevators? scared of what freeman's like in enclosed spaces i expect

you can restart the whole game. i had the same problem, when alyx didn't want to go to the elevator.

nah... pressing F6 then F9 is much easier and quite convenient to use.
