After the hammer things ( a la dune), there are combine bunkers and after,,, nothing, except water filled with leeches that kill you befour you cross the water...

What do i do?

You're going to need to be a bit more specific than that if you want some help. Posting a screenshot is a good help, too.

Probably. But there are lots of thumpers and bunkers around there.

I'm assuming you mean the end of that section, with the two large Combine guard towers positioned perfectly to shoot the crap out of you? There should be a path leading up behing one of them. Make your way up there; the rest of the way is pretty obvious.

Going by that picture, you have to get up behind the one on the left. There will be a path that takes you along the cliff, and behind the other bunker.

Can you give me a hint where you go to get up to that cliff? I've wandered around underneath both of those towers but all of the cliffs appear to be too high to jump up. Do I need to backtrack to one of the earlier bunkers to find a route to the upper ridge line?

Go behind the first bunker, from the picture should be on your left. There is a clear tunnel there that you will see.

Is it near the debris behind the second bunker?

If it is behind the first bunker, do you need to activate it first?

It's not THAT hard to find. If you try to work your way around the ack of those towers so that you can take them out you're bound to bump into it.

At first, I did not go far enough down the beach.
