stuck on dark energy

im stuck on the part where Dr. Breen is in the little orb thing, and alyx keeps going "LIEK OMG HURRY GORDON HURRY!!111ONEONE". what am i supposed to do to stop him from doing whatevers hes going to do?

hahaha, that happened to me, I couln't figure out what to do.

Anyways, you have to shoot the orb things at the 'core', the glowing ball at the top of the thing, without hitting the shield things spinning around it.

Try climbing to the top of the reactor, then shooting the orb thingies.
