lol Im sure this part was so easy for most of you. But I really can't properly hear what the cyclops monster guy is saying. He told me to throw the bugbait in the sand pit then I don't know what to do next.

Throw it at the dummy until they attack it. Then use the secondary trigger to get them to follow you towards the gate.

In addition to what NJspeed said, you may want to turn sub-titles on if you can't hear what people are saying to you in game.
