Stuck, reaching the 3rd generator

I'm in that museum (or whatever kind of Building that is) and I allready killed 2 of 3 generators. Now I'm in that room with the light barriers and the turrets at the ceiling and after about 50 deaths I become frustrated.

Is it just a matter of timing? Of speed? Or is there a simple trick? What is the goal? Pushing the button next to the door?

Jump over the lazers from on the machinery untill you reach the button, it deactivates the lazers and turrets so Barney can come through.

Edit: If you try to run through them the button wont work, and at one point I think you need to pick up a mine and place it on a machine in order to get enough hight for a jump.

I did it without manipulating mines. Just duck or jump to avoid the lasers. When there's one pair of lasers left blocking the way to the button, you need to jump onto something really close to two (other) lasers. From there, you can jump onto the other machines, from where you can get to the button.

It's not that easy to explain, but there's no timing involved, just work your way past the lasers without touching them. I had to try more than once too.

Yup... you need to hop on the furniture to get to hte back and disable the traps. Save the hoppers tho... they come in handy shortly after you get past this spot

There's a pipe hugging one wall that you need to jump on, and then across the top of the bookcases to the button.
