stuck taking out the 3 generators

hey there guys, i am stuck in the game and actually i have a feeling its a bug .... hope not thou.

anyway, i am storming the main building in city 17 and trying to take out the 3 generators in the building., there is a room that has a whole bunch of trip wires (red lazers) and if you trip one , the door to the room closes and turrets come from the ceiling and take you out. So, what i tried doing was from outside the room, i pulled a painting off the wall and flung it into the lazer to set off the trap, the door closed (with me on the outside), and now it wont open back up and there is no way to get inside again.

anyone else run into this and know of a way around it ? i last save in the list is really really far back since i've been using quick saves all along.

I cheated on that part because I was stuck too. just nocliped through it.

Well, it's not what you need to do. You need to get across the room without setting the lasers off. Jump on some stuff, walk on the pipes, and you'll be able to make it across and hit a button.

eek ... i would say that would be a bug .... fack fack fack , i really dont want to have to go wayyyyyy back and do it all over again.

i think the next save on my list is from ravenholm ... ugh.
if thats the case , anyone have a save game from the start of that level ?

No actually there are parts of the maze walls that you can jump on, just try to find parts that you can get on top of and hop over the lasers. It may take a bit but you'll eventually see the way

the problem is i cant get in to the room

i tried using "noclip" and it did nothing, is there another thing i need to add to turn that on to get through that wall ?

Save your game where you are, and you should be able to start a New Game from the beginning of that level. Why doesn't it auto-save for you anyway?

i got it ... thanks .. i just nocliped in and opened it up and then turned off noclip ... thanks for the help guys

I got the save file

I checked my saves, and I saved it right at the door to that laser room, I don't want to post the save online :sniper: , but I can email it to you if you want.
