Suggestion: Credit for Barrel Kills in DM

Wouldn't it be cool if the player who blew up or set a barrel on fire resulting in another players death got credit for that kill?

Only uncredited kills i know of is from the fan trap in dm_lockdown

Really? Cause everytime I play, if I toast a barrel and it rips a guy apart, all it gives is the skull and crossbones and the dead guys name... unlike if I rebar someone through the eye, and it says "Lord Dubu (rebar crossbow) SomeDeadDude.

Then it may be the server. I dunno.

It's not the server. Probably just a bug, though it's also possible that he triggered the barrel himself when shooting at you and accidentally blew himself up.

Maybe the difference is forcing the barrel to explode vs just igniting it?
Also if the barrel is in his possession vs off to the side might make a difference.

If you shoot a barrel and it flames and then explodes on it's own, you might not get credit. You definately get credit if your shot is the one that detonates it.

I've shot many barrels in front of people who have it on their gravity gun resulting in the barrel exploding in their face, yet I don't get the credit. Hmmm...
