You don't. I'm sensing that you are having a texture problem here, take screenshots of it, and if you have Steam, post a new thread in the Help section.

Then you shouldn't need to put the skins anywhere to play.

You don't download them. Do you really have Steam?

Then say so. They go in Steam/steamapps/account name/team fortress 2/tf/materials.

You were unclear, and I'm all the same person.

EDIT: Lock now?

Well do you really need to be so rude? Firstly you swan in here making duplicate threads ignoring our rules, then I come back to my computer finding you've raped my inbox with PMs asking this question over and over. Let me explain something. We don't need to assist you, it's if someone has the time or knowledge to assist you. Secondly, Mr. I'm so important, if you really had a brain cell in your head, you'd have looked at the installation techniques on fps banana, or even more logically...asked THERE.

Lastly, instead of your indignant and petulant comment to Rapstah, how about a thank you for him helping you out? Jesus H Christ...

well the things dotn work and on fps banana it only tells how to get css skins to work so im still looking for ananswer after looking sence 10 this morning

CSS skins work exactly as these. There are big files that hold the game data - GCF files; if you name a file the same thing as one of the files in there and name it the same thing it'll override the original one.

And besides: why would you want skin files for TF2? It's perfectly fine as it is.

Yes, but that's since the directories split up after that, there should be information on FPSBanana for the rest.

can u just plz tell me iv searched about 50 pages today on google

I can't tell you! It depends on what file you're trying to use!

Steam/SteamApps/user name/Team Fortress 2/tf2/materials/models/weapons/v_shotgun. Create those folders and put it in there and you should be fine.

Create the folders. All the information you need is in this thread, read it through once again and the next time you need help, post in the help section.

And don't expect this much help.

Wow, you know when people try and help you could at least try to read the help. I've downloaded the black shotgun you described and created the "models" folder in the materials folder. I then copied and pasted the "weapons" folder that you downloaded from FPS Banana, this folder you put in there must be called Weapons. Start your game and the skin will work.

Funnily enough, the installation guide is on fps banana if you read it. And that skin is shockingly bad too...
