The Administrator (possible spoilers in future replies)

I was just reading through some other news pages and message boards when someone said refered to the administrator as Dr. Breen. Has anyone else heard about this or is this old news? (sorry if it is) Apparently Gabe has mentioned this in an interview....

No, mentioning Breen himself isn't a spoiler, well not really. But other replies might be, so the title was changed just incase anyone accidently looks and someone hasn't used the spoiler tags.

Depends on what info people have heard from the magazines. Course this doesn't include stuff people have worked out from the stolen files. And before the usual suspects who are currently spending tonight racking up warnings try their luck, we know the difference

i dont believe there has been any official info concerning whether the administrator is infact dr. breen. i think after those german scans came out yesterday people assumed a connection, but after reading pc zones article today, there is no reason to believe hes the administrator. i havent played the beta, and i hope those who did dont know the answer.

i think the administrator should be left secret as its probly one of the biggest parts in hl2... i think you gota put a bullet in his head but that just me... i wonder wherre he is... id post on dr.breen and the administrator but i know that cris_D will come flame me again

from all the stuff i've seen people talking about, breen being the admin is purely a guess. ...unless one of those "guesses" was so accurate because it's from the leak? i hope not. i wanna be surprised.

I don't remember anybody who played the leak mentioning dr. Breen or the Administrator. It might have been added after the leak, thus possible storyline changes after the 9/30 disaster.

Or they had no desire to tell others about anything discovered in the Beta. I don't know about you, but if I had gotten the beta, I wouldn't have told anyone anything. If they wanted to know, they would have gone and gotten the beta themselfs.

From what I gathered from PCZone, DrBreen appears to be some public figure, probably allied with the combine.

Really? Thats a lot of ppl. Somewhere on the order of a few million. For all those paranoid about getting caught, only the big fish get caught, only the ones worth spending large amounts of time one. You stay a little fish and you'll be just fine.

The article from PCZONE says he might be the possible antagonist, or a rival scientist to Gordon, whatever the case I think he is going to have gonna have a big part in the game..

I don't think Mr Breen is the Administrator, the Administrator will probably be a unknown character for the larger part of the game but we will probably get to know more about him, maybe even see him in the end of the game.
