Last year saw The International 2014 become the first eSporting event to be broadcast on ESPN (sorry Heroes of the Storm), and it seems as if this year's event will be just as influential. An official press release distributed earlier today has revealed The International 2015 Grand Final on August 8th will be broadcast live in over 400 cinemas across the United States of America.

The event, estimated to last "approximately" six hours, will allow cinema-goers to watch two of the best Dota 2 teams around battle it out for the largest prize pool in eSporting history, a figure just shy of $16.6M at the time of writing. Tickets for the event can be purchased over on the FathomEvents website, while information regarding any of the event's 400+ cinema locations can be found over in this rather exhaustive list.

These past two days also saw Valve and WeLoveFine announce this year's batch of International and Dota-themed merchandise. As usual, the massive catalogue of items includes mini-figures, plushes, accessories, soft toys, and clothing such as t-shirts, hoodies, hats, necklaces, and much more. Most of the items previewed on the WeLoveFine website will be made available to everyone following the conclusion of The International 2015, so make sure you get started with that shopping list.
