It is obvious they are a poorly run gaming publisher. The started out selling water for goodness sake! They only got in to the gaming biz for one reason...moolah.
They don't care about the fans, what the publish, or who they piss off. At this point they can't even make the money they so desparately covet. They are operating at a loss...it doesn't seem like they care about fixing that even when they obviously have the solution in their hands but choose to sit on it as in times past.
They are a dying segment of the product cycle and they know it, so they're gonna go out in a ball of fire...crash and burn, and it seems they're trying to take who ever they can with them.
I am gonna buy through steam asap, and play CS for as long as I have to wait...VUG is gonna lose more and more and more money as time goes on. I'm sure they acting out of spite at this point, and we wont get the full SP till spring.
With all the crap that has happened who would ever want to work with them again...I mean if they're not already contractually required to do so? Who would support them and buy games from them? Even the general public will get wind of their stink I'm certain.
Hold on boys and girls, I've got a feeling its gonna be a long cold Winter.
