The vortigaunts...

I just noticed something with the vortigaunts (sp?). They can shoot lazers as an attack. I tried spawning a combine soldier and the vortigaunt shot a green lazer which killed the combine in one hit and sent him back about 2 feet. Sounds like valve helped out the mod community there (so that in mods vortigaunts can help the player)

I'm glad, heh. Very good indeed, they were under control of the Alien Queen in the last Half Life, thats why they attacked you, they worship you for some creepy reason. But still, It's a good help in my opinion.

is it with the green? theres one part in the game (going to eli's lab i think) where your going down an elevator and they are shooting green in a floor. wonder what they're shooting at? too lazy to go find out
