Ok excuse me when I misunderstood something, but aren't steam skins just different unicolored backgrounds? Where's the point in downloading them? I mean, when they're in the future like the winamp 2, or maybe later like winamp 3 (different skin and shape) such a forum would be useful, but at this point, I don't know... well correct me when I'm wrong.

Look in other threads to see a bunch of slightly more advanced skins popping up...
The only important thing we are having trouble with right now is that the opacity (the 4th number in the RGBA color settings) is not having any effect... so we can't do certain things, like making invisible buttons or having transparent label backgrounds.
Though, they might fix it with the next Steam update.
