I have completed my map at last, So i check for errors, None. Make sure everythink is perfect, then i got to compile which takes round 2 hours. In the compile log no errors recorded. eg. brushs, nodraw textures, no werid displacements. So i go to run my map, half-life starts to load when it crashes and a error message appears MATERIALSYSTEM_INTERFACE_T::ALLOCATELIGHTMAP: LIGHTMAP (516*28) IS TOO BIG TO FIT IN PAGE (512*256). So i think its something to do with the lights on my map. But no problems could be found. So i use the cordon tool to split my map up into quarters (now this is the strange part). After i compile each quarter that error doesnt turn up. Each part of the level works fine. So i put my map back together and compile and crap the same error has appeared.
I havnt found out what has caused this error for over a week now so can anyone help me....

Weird error that shows up seemingly randomly. It was caused in at least one case by a horribly mangled displacement. In other cases, overuse of very small lightmap scales, especially on large faces, caused errors. In yet other cases, a giant leak-prevention cube built around the map seemed to cause the error.

So i might have a mangled displacement or a giant leak. can this error also be caused by any env_cubemap or lights behind a solid but with a texture of a metal mesh like chain link fence
