I am very pleased with my Saphire X800Pro 256 Very Pleased

When im in a server I still get like 100+ fps this was the best card i ever purchased. Whenever i buy games i use to look at the requirements, well those days are finally over.

So those of you still thinking about buying this card STOP THINKING Half Life 2 is just around the corner.

1280X1024 With everything high 6 AA and only 8 AF i cant tell the difference when i put 16 so i keep it at 8

Tip: When the majority of your frame rates are above 60 fps (that is key), go to your ATI control panel and enable Temporal AA and set it to 6 AA. You now have the equivalent to 12 AA at the performance cost of 6 AA.

I get 120fps on same settings with my slightly overclocked (but watercooled, phase-change ) BFG Aslyum 5700FX Ultra...and that card isn't even a premium card

Well...phase-change is a big cooling step, if I use a special liquid in the system (I use antifreeze, because if I use water it freezes) I can get CPU temps at -5C (I was told by the seller)...but I think the stuff is hazardous like liquid nitrogen lol

Yeah I still got low fps online, but pretty high fps when on lan. Some computers are luckier than others with the X800 cards :x

he wasnt in an empty server, he made his own server, that raises your fps by double, plus ied rather have him take a screenshot standing at T spawn just standing, one of hte most demanding spots in the game.

especialy if your looking up the ramp. with 4 people in front of you, now thats something to get 100+ fps with

Yeah. Beats my rig too .. You bastard! I'm usually around 60-70 fps at 1280x960, Trilinear, no af. I get about 110+ fps if I'm alone , but it drops to like 50 in fights, sometimes even lower.

yep, you're one of those thats saying the truth of the performence. I see alot of people saying that they get minimum of 60 fps and an avarenge of like 100 fps in CS:S on max settings. What gives?

yeah I know. I'm tired of the lying. Why would someone get an average of 100fps when everyone else get around 40-60fps (AA and AF on. 60-70 with AA and AF off. with a similar rig of course) ??

x600 is PCI-E. and it sucks. if your gonna get a PCI-E card get the new 6600 ($150) or 6600GT ($200). both of those cards come in AGP as well.
