I just realized I've got french homework for tomorrow, and I had sort of planned going to bed now, so it's kind of urgent that I get it done and remembering it afterwards. I only really have to remember it until tomorrow (because that's when the test is), I can practice it some more after that if I need to learn it for real.

Any tips? This is ultra-beginner French, by the way, nothing complicated.

I completely forget french.. I remember Juis Sui or something like that.. Other then la/le/les/des I don't know anything - I live in Canada and was forced to take it for like 6 years of my school career, and remember nothing of it.

Manger means to eat. I know that one.

To be honest, if it were me, I'd just cheat. Be creative - I've cheated on most of my exams in high school so far, I only have 1 more year to go and haven't been caught once.

I remember my grade 9 (and last) french exam - I put the answers on the inside of a water bottle label.. I thought that was genius!

Don't use ink. Use a knife. If they call you out on it, tell them you're just self harming.

or read it once and them hit your head whit a hammer until you fall unconcious, that way you wont forget it

Cheat cheat cheat cheat.

Passed spanish that way.

Tip1 Sometimes they allow Ipods and stuff, record yourself reading the text, and then play it tomorrow at the test.
Tip2 Hide notes
Tip3 If all fails, fake heart attack.

They caught some people doing that last year so we're not allowed to use Ipods in class :P

Tip2 Hide notes
The teacher in question collects books and stuff before tests and puts them on her desk which is retarded, I could hide notes under my arms or whatever though

Tip3 If all fails, fake heart attack.

They caught some people doing that last year so we're not allowed to use heart attack in class :P

EDIT: Oh god, I just got ****ing ?risten'd by a link in my own signature, that's a new low

EDIT 2: Oh that's it, I can't stay up anymore, I just failed my French test.

haha that's like the most obvious way of cheating

what i always did if i needed to was wear a sweater and hide a small little slip of paper inside the sleeve and moved it into the cup of my hand whenever i needed a peek :p

ITT cheaters.

for studying, say it out loud as you are reading. Also writing it will help.

I just realized he's probably already taking the test by now. TOO LATE!

Who wants to learn french.. It's french!

I already know that one.

Yeah, I took the test and it turned out it wasn't by far as bad as I thought it'd be, but I still managed to misspell a bunch of stuff etc. that I probably wouldn't have done if I'd practiced more.

I have done french for 3 and a bit years
yet the only thing i know how to say is
bonjour
=/

fromage frais > cheese strawberry > strawberry cheese

I got an F in GCSE French, but I'm thinking of actually learning a language now that I'm 23. How easy is Spanish?

I hated my French lessons because the teacher was really bad, but I don't do it anymore since I didn't chose it for GCSEs.

Apparently, going to bed and falling asleep with it being read out to you from an mp3 player or an ipod helps. Never tried it though.

According to some book my friend read about how to learn languages, the best way to learn new words is to make up stories with them...... the more vulgar the story, the better.

(Doesn't really help with grammar or spelling though.)

Non-cheating way:

Record yourself reading the text you need to memorize, and listen to it while you are sleeping.

Why don't you just read it while you're sleeping.

psssh, for Spanish 3 my junior year, I copied off my friend on every single homework/classwork assignment and test. Got a B+ too, although on the final he said he was guessing throughout the test.
